During the welding process, an overpressure builds up between the pressure reducer and the welding device before and after each ignition process. During ignition, the pressure is released abruptly and only the previously set flow rate is regulated. The shielding gas saver is designed to eliminate overpressure at the start of the welding process and ensure constant flow and pressure. Reducing the overpressure at the beginning of each MIG/MAG welding process reduces the amount of gas escaping during each ignition process. With every bit of gas you save, you directly reduce your costs and thus you save money! Furthermore, no excess gas penetrates into the liquid weld metal, thus no pores or inclusions are formed: The quality of the weld seam is increased!
